By accessing or using the SamKass Finance Manager web application ("SamKass"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
SamKass is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ledger and management tool designed for small-scale financiers to track loans, calculate EMIs, generate receipts, and manage daily collections.
SamKass is strictly a technology provider. We are not a bank, NBFC, registered financial institution, or lending entity. We do not issue loans, process actual loan disbursements, or act as an intermediary in your financial transactions. The platform is solely a digital ledger for your business record-keeping.
You agree to use SamKass in compliance with all applicable local, state, and national laws regarding money lending, interest rates, and financial regulations (including but not limited to laws in India / Tamil Nadu). You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you input, the terms of the loans you issue, and your collection practices. You must not use SamKass for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities.
While SamKass provides export functionality (JSON, CSV, PDF), your primary business data is stored locally on your device's browser unless actively synced to a cloud backend. You are solely responsible for regularly exporting and backing up your data. SamKass is not liable for data loss due to device formatting, browser cache clearing, or hardware failure.
SamKass offers a free tier (limited to 20 clients) and premium subscription plans (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly) for extended usage. Purchases for premium plans and additional client slots are final. Refunds are processed solely at our discretion and according to our internal refund policy. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with prior notice.
All branding, logos (including the SamKass logo), software code, and UI/UX designs within the application are the exclusive intellectual property of SamKass. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute our software without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SamKass and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or disputes between you and your clients.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we suspect a violation of these Terms and Conditions, unauthorized use, or illegal activities.

Welcome to SamKass ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal and business data is handled securely. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the SamKass Finance Manager web application.
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, business/firm
name, and an encrypted password. If you log in using Google OAuth, we collect your basic profile information
(name, email, and profile picture).
Business & Financial Data: Information regarding your clients, loan details, EMIs, and payment
records.
Usage Data: We may collect basic diagnostic data and usage metrics to improve application
performance.
Local Storage Architecture: To ensure high performance and privacy, SamKass is built with an
offline-first architecture. Your core business data (clients, loans, payments) is primarily stored locally on
your device/browser via localStorage.
Cloud Sync & Authentication: Your account credentials and subscription status are securely
managed by our backend servers. Passwords are cryptographically hashed (bcrypt), and sessions are managed via
secure JWT cookies.
To authenticate your account and secure your data. To provide the core functionalities of the app, including EMI tracking, receipt generation, and WhatsApp reminder formatting. To process subscription upgrades and payments. To send you essential account updates (e.g., Magic Login links, plan expiry notices).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data to third parties. We only share data with essential service providers necessary to operate the app (e.g., Google for OAuth login, email providers for sending login links).
Because you act as a financier entering data about your clients, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary consent from your clients to store their personal information (such as phone numbers, addresses, and ID numbers) within the SamKass application.
You have full control over your business data. You can delete individual records or completely clear your local data using the "Clear All Data" feature in the Settings menu. If you wish to permanently delete your SamKass account and cloud data, please contact our support team.
